Description: The successful candidate provides Help Desk Call Center Support. The candidate will provide phone and on-site support for government personnel and phone/remote desktop support for our customers. Support will cover a wide range of desktop hardware and software, common IT services, and government specific applications on various networks.
Work will be performed at designations within the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH.
Duties: The successful candidate will perform the following functions.
A. Prepare pre-certification application packaging documentation for Hardware Certification; Software Certification; Software Distribution; and Software Transition Information.
B. Create, test, and prepare for deploying the standard packaging solutions as defined in NMCI standards for deployment.
C. Provide NMCI required documentation for any changes to infrastructure or applications supported.
D. Manage and configure of Science and Technology (S & T) Seat and dual desktops.
E. Manage NMCI New User Account Orientation and provide initial user workstation set up in accordance with GFI 13.2.36.
F. Monitor NMCI service level agreements in accordance with GFI 13.2.36 by evaluating NMCI SUBMEPP customer support for tickets and move/ add/change (MAC) actions.
G. Utilize desktop remote tools to analyze and resolve enterprise issues and outages.
H. Perform NMCI Customer Technical Representative (CTR) functions as defined on NMCI Homeport website.
I. Initiate and manage application sunsets under NMCI – Manage continual process of reduction or update of applications used under NMCI.
J. Maintain and monitor information system entries in the Integrated Solutions Framework (ISF) Tools (ISF Tools) database daily.
K. Prepare statements of objectives or Requirements Award Program Tool (RAPT) actions for various NMCI contract line item numbers (CLINs) purchased through the NMCI support contract.
L. Resolve Level 2 technical issues in accordance with section 18 regarding NMCI operations, applications connectivity, server reach back, B1/B2/B3 boundaries and 403M/host file changes.
M. Support NMCI printing – coordinate printer issues under NMCI, provide planning to support changes and provide inventory and track the status of printer supplies as supplies are consumed or replenished.
N. Maintain existing and when required create new work procedures (WPs) on LAN in support of this task for common Help Desk processes and activities.
