JOB TITLE: Network Security Engineer 
LOCATION: Woodbridge, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months
Start Date: Immediately
Hourly Rate: Market Rate

Job Description:       

·         Troubleshoot intricate network and systems issues spanning all layers of network topology

·         Work closely with all IT functional areas to design and implement operational requirements for new and existing IT systems

·         Communicate with managers and peers within the Technology Operations, Server Group, Desktop Support, Information Security and Audit groups

·         Assist with network related user performance and connectivity issues

Desired Skills:

·         Experience with Firewall architecture, design, administration and configuration, ( Cisco ASA firewall or other )

·         Next Generation Firewall or UTM experience is a plus ( Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWall, Other )

·         Practical knowledge of TCP/IP packet analysis with Wireshark or other tools

·         Practical knowledge implementing Cisco VPN Solutions or other

·         Hands-on experience routing protocols  OSPF, EIGRP, BGP

·         WAN optimization implementation and management experience E.G. Riverbed, WAAS

·         Hands-on experience troubleshooting and configuring, and supporting Cisco switches, IOS, IOS XE and NXOS. ( Nexus 7000, 3850 / 3750 StackWise, etc )
